Local Friends, I’ll be speaking at the Elkins Park Free library tonight at 7pm. The E.P. library is where I got my first library card. I remember writing my name on that little card, in shaky newly-acquired 5-year old letters. I was so happy. That card was my magic ticket to the world of books. Here is a bit of history of the E.P. library. Who out there remembers the original building? Hope to see you tonight.

I’m going to be in Palm Beach for Book events on February 25th and 26th. I would love to bring my Henna House 100 Book Club challenge to Florida. Are you in Florida or are you going to be there in February? Are you in a book club? Do you organize community events at a library or readings at a bookstore? My first book club visit of my 100 Book Club Challenge. What a great night. Ellen Tilman, thanks for inviting me. I had a blast! I told some behind the scenes stories, and confided in the group that my very eclectic reading habits veer from Zombie books to the classics.
