A big thank you to Regina Foy, Leslie Stephan Skilton and Susan Hugo. I first went to Leslie’s book club at the Manufacturers Country Club. Susan was there, and she invited me to her book club in Jenkintown. Then I went to a book club at Leslie’s house, then I went to Susan’s book club in Jenkintown and next I’ll be going to Susan’s sister Regina’s book club. You are what my challenge is all about. Friends and sisters reaching out to each other and helping to spread the word. I have so much enjoyed meeting you and your book club friends. I’m approaching 50 visits, and you there have helped me get there.

Book Club #36 Hello Toronto!
Book Club #36 Skype to Toronto!!! This is my first non-U.S. book club and I had such a great time chatting with these ladies. There is something really magical about being able to do a book club visit at home in a snow storm. Inspired by middle-eastern cuisine the hostess made a lentil dip, which I wanted to try, but the computer screen wouldn’t let me cross over into her living room (much to my chagrin) 😉

Book Club #35 The On-Line Outlanders!
Right now as I am sitting all toasty in my house during a snowstorm, Book Club #35, The Outlander Book Club, is discussing Henna House on their on-line forum. And…in a few minutes I will be Skyping with a Book Club #36 in Toronto. I am awed by readers everywhere — and so grateful to modern technology for broadening the possibilities for interactions between authors and readers. And a hearty hello to book Club #35, (the Outlanders out there) I’ve been reading your comments, and I love what you have to say about my book.
